Procurement Director

Role Overview The Procurement Director will manage the full procurement lifecycle, from strategy development to contract award and ongoing supplier performance management. This role will lead complex procurement activities, develop procurement strategies, and manage strategic supplier relationships. What You Will Do The Procurement Director will be responsible for procurement strategy and category management, sourcing and contract management, supplier and stakeholder management, procurement governance and risk management, and leadership and team management. Why It Might Be a Fit The ideal candidate will have significant procurement experience in city operations, facilities management, and asset operations, as well as strong category management and commercial management experience. Requirements • Significant procurement experience in city operations, facilities management, asset operations or similarly complex operational environments • Strong experience sourcing and managing contracts across FM, hard and soft services, maintenance, security, cleaning, waste management and other operational services • Proven experience managing strategic supplier relationships and service performance against KPIs and SLAs • Strong category management, procurement governance and commercial management experience • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with operational stakeholders and support uninterrupted business-as-usual service delivery • Experience developing procurement strategies, route-to-market approaches and commercial models for recurring operational services • Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams and engaging with senior stakeholders • Degree in procurement, supply chain, business, finance, law, engineering or a related discipline • Professional procurement qualification, such as CIPS or an equivalent, is preferred
