HSE Officer

Role Overview The HSE Officer is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment by implementing health and safety policies, conducting workplace inspections, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations and company procedures. What You Will Do Conduct routine workplace and site safety inspections, identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions, ensure employees and contractors comply with safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Why It Might Be a Fit The role involves educating employees on safe work practices and supporting the prevention of accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of engineering and IMS experience, and a recognized safety certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA training. Requirements • At least 5 years engineering and IMS experience • Aerospace, Defence experience is desirable • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field • Recognized safety certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA training, or equivalent is preferred • Previous experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar HSE role is mandatory
