Civil QA/QC Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Civil QA/QC Engineer to oversee and ensure quality compliance across our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring civil and structural activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and industry standards. What You Will Do The candidate will conduct routine site inspections, surveillance, and quality testing, including witnessing and verifying site and laboratory testing, and preparing quality status reports. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant QA/QC experience in building construction or civil engineering projects • Strong hands-on experience in steel structure fabrication, erection, welding inspection, bolted connections, alignment, dimensional checks, and structural installation activities • Experience in reinforced concrete structures, foundations, reinforcement inspections, and associated civil construction activities • Sound knowledge of structural inspection procedures, material testing, welding quality requirements, and construction quality control systems • Familiarity with international construction codes and standards, project specifications, and applicable UAE regulations • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is preferred • Relevant certifications such as CSWIP, AWS welding inspection, BGAS, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or other QA/QC-related qualifications will be an added advantage
