Mechanical Design Engineer (Consultant Background)

Role Overview We are seeking a proficient Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising mechanical systems and components for various construction projects. What You Will Do Develop detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. Use CAD and BIM software to prepare layouts and 3D models. Why It Might Be a Fit Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the construction industry. Proficiency in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the construction industry • Proficiency in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks effectively • Previous experience with a consultant
