Senior Site Engineer - Civil – GIS Substation

Role Overview The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising civil construction works of 400/132 kV substations, preparing daily site reports, and attending progress meetings with contractors and consultants. The role requires a strong understanding of international standards, HSE requirements, and information systems. What You Will Do The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising civil construction works, preparing daily site reports, attending progress meetings, and ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with contractual terms and conditions. Requirements • Power & Transmission Industry Exposure • Experience in HV GIS Substation construction projects 400 kV/132 kV voltage levels • At least 10 years' experience after graduation out of which at least 5 years' experience in GIS Substation projects • Experience in DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) Substation projects • Adequate knowledge of International standards and HSE requirements in the Power industry • Adequate knowledge of information systems • B.E. Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university • Fluent in written and spoken English with good technical skills applied to producing reports and literate in use of MS Office applications • Experience of working within an ISO Quality environment • Good knowledge of applicable design standards and codes in UAE/GCC countries
