Part-Time Accountant (UAE)

Role Overview We're hiring a part-time accountant to manage accounting and financial compliance requirements for several UAE-based businesses. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands UAE accounting regulations and can work independently. What You Will Do Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations and prepare VAT and Corporate Tax returns. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, prepare financial reports, and monitor tax deadlines. Why It Might Be a Fit We're looking for an experienced accountant who can work independently, has a strong working knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and FTA procedures, and can manage accounting for multiple UAE companies. Requirements • Proven UAE accounting experience • Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and FTA procedures • Demonstrable experience preparing and submitting VAT and Corporate Tax returns • Experience managing accounting for multiple UAE companies, including free zone entities • Good understanding of UAE payroll, WPS, and end-of-service calculations • Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, Xero, or QuickBooks • Strong Excel skills and financial reporting capabilities
