Mechanical Engineer Internships

Role Overview Support the development and delivery of TBM's used in our projects, working directly with experienced engineers and technicians. You will own clearly defined engineering projects and contribute to hardware that will be built, tested, and deployed onsite. What You Will Do Design or support the design of tunnel boring machine components, create 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials. Assist with mechanism design, machine components, fabricated structures, hydraulic systems, tooling, and test fixtures. Support the fabrication, assembly, inspection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical hardware. You will participate in design reviews, testing activities, failure investigations, and design improvements. Ensure designs consider safety, manufacturability, assembly, reliability, maintenance, and overall system requirements. Requirements • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. • Familiarity with SolidWorks or another parametric 3D CAD platform. • Understanding of engineering fundamentals, including mechanics, materials, machine elements, and manufacturing processes. • Hands-on experience with fabrication, machining, assembly, robotics, testing, or mechanical projects through university, internships, competitions, or personal work. • Ability to work onsite in Dubai for the agreed internship period. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
