Assistant Resident Engineer – Civil & Wet Utilities

Role Overview The successful candidate will assist the Resident Engineer in supervising and monitoring civil and wet utilities construction works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project quality requirements. What You Will Do Supervise and monitor civil and wet utilities construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Oversee wet utilities works, including stormwater drainage, sewerage, potable water, and irrigation networks. Why It Might Be a Fit The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of stormwater drainage, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, and associated infrastructure works. Experience in pipeline installation, manholes, chambers, testing, earthworks, and reinstatement is also required. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. • Relevant experience in civil and wet utilities construction and site supervision. • Good knowledge of stormwater drainage, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, and associated infrastructure works. • Experience in pipeline installation, manholes, chambers, testing, earthworks, and reinstatement. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and method statements. • Good understanding of inspection procedures, quality control, and construction standards. • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. • UAE experience on infrastructure projects is preferred.
