Procurement Engineer

Role Overview We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Engineer to join our organization in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier identification and evaluation to contract negotiation and vendor management. What You Will Do Analyze and evaluate supplier proposals, technical specifications, and pricing to ensure alignment with organizational requirements and budget constraints. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and negotiations to achieve favorable terms and conditions. Requirements • 8-10 years of professional experience in procurement engineering, supply chain management, or related field • Proven experience in vendor evaluation, supplier management, and contract negotiation • Strong proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms) • Advanced analytical and data analysis skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail • Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain optimization techniques • Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment • Familiarity with UAE and Middle East procurement regulations and compliance requirements • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands • Proficiency in cost analysis, budget management, and financial forecasting • Experience with contract management and legal documentation review
